Jay Rashleigh from ServiceMaster Restoration by Wills

Jay Rashleigh is a regional account manager at our New London office. Born and raised in Mystic, CT, Jay came on with us to start the New Year in 2014 after living in Ft. Lauderdale, FL for the past 9 years. Jay is certified in Water Damage Restoration, Fire & Smoke Restoration, and Odor Control. In addition to networking and marketing for new business, Jay is one of our estimators and performs home inspections. He is proficient in Xactimate and recently became a member of the leadership team of the Mystic BNI. While in Florida he graduated from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. Following graduation, Jay received his first job working with Globaltranz, a 3rd party logistics company selling and coordinating the shipment of various products both nationally and internationally. After a few years building a book of business he was recruited to work for Inc. 500’s #1 ranked logistics and transportation company BlueGrace Logistics as a logistics consultant working with medium to large size businesses throughout the country. Jay is a huge Boston sports fan and couldn’t be happier being back with great friends and family.

              How does a VERY satisfied customer thank the crew that did such a wonderful job in her house? I am not sure, except to say THANK YOU!! My house has always been my pride - it has stayed immaculate for the 15 years I have owned it. I became very ill in 2009. After that, I had such a hard time keeping it so. About a year ago, I had another set-back that disabled me to the point I could not keep up with any more than the one floor I am now relegated to. I saved for the past year to afford some help to try to recover some cleanliness in the basement and 2nd floor. The job your staff did brought tears to my eyes. I think I now can keep up with my home.. and I know if I can't, I can get a fair price to bring my home back to my standards. Thank You. God Bless You. You did a lot more than clean my house - you gave me back my pride.

              On Tuesday, December 20, we were awakened at 4 am by our smoke alarm. We dialed 911 and the Mystic, CT fire trucks arrived. Some critter had blocked the chimney flue, which caused the oil burner to malfunction, filling our basement and house with smoke. Fortunately, there was no fire, but we faced the task of finding someone on short notice to examine both the chimney and furnace. Fortunately for us, Densmore Oil Company and Armstrong Chimney Service came to our rescue. They put the spider up the chimney and removed several gallons of long pine needles. Working alongside each other, the chimney/furnace was back in operation by 5 pm, which was wonderful because the temperature was going to drop to 20 degrees overnight. Later, the ServiceMaster Company spent 6 days here cleaning up after the smoke and soot. We are now pretty much back to normal. We would like to thank you very much for the courteous and urgent attention paid to our plight by all the ServiceMaster workers. They were all polite, knowledgeable, hard-working and thorough. We got an early spring cleaning. We ask you to tell all of them that we really appreciate their work. Our best wishes to all for a wonderful New Year, 2017.
